Remove or Edit an Author from an Article, Article Index, or Article Collection

There are cases when you want to remove an author from an Article, Articles Index, or Articles Collection (for example, when the person publishing the article is different from the author).

Remove an Author from an Article

1. Find the article you want to remove the author from in the Pages dashboard.
2. Hover over the article and click Properties.
3. Click on the Custom Data tab.
4. Click the checkbox next to “Hide author?”.
5. Save the page properties.

Edit the Name of the Author for an Individual Article

1. Find the article you want to remove the author from in the Pages dashboard.
2. Hover over the article and click Properties.
3. Click on the Custom Data tab.
4. Click the checkbox next to “Hide author?”.
5. Save the page properties.

Remove an Author from an Articles Index or Article Collection

1. Find the root page of your articles in the Pages dashboard, or the page that contains your article collection.
2. Hover over the page and click Properties.
3. Click the Custom Data Tab.
4. Click the checkbox next to “Disable Author for Articles.”
5. Save the page properties.
