Adventure WV offers adventure education opportunities for students of all levels. As an incoming student, you can take an Adventure WV first-year trip and make some of your best friends before you attend your first class.

Health and Wellness

We provide counseling, self-help options, online therapy, a crisis text line, and dozens of wellness programs. All students can use the Carruth Center, which offers extensive psychological and counseling services.

Safety

Our campus is generally very safe, and WVU Police officers patrol 24/7 to make sure it stays that way. Residence halls are staffed around the clock. No one can enter a residence hall after midnight without a valid resident identification card.

When emergencies do arise, the WVU Safety Notification System messages quickly notify the community. You also can download LiveSafe for an on-the-go connection with authorities and your family and friends.
